Located at our stunning waterside head office in Frankston and reporting into the Stakeholder & Community Engagement Manager, this pivotal role will ensure the voice of our community plays a significant role in South East Water’s decision making and longer-term strategic direction. The role will oversee the development and management of an overarching community engagement framework that forms an integral element for the Community and Stakeholder Strategic direction.  A fundamental component within this role is the ability to prioritise and build relationships with strategic community groups/partners who have a broad reach and influence throughout the community. 

In addition the role will be charged with developing and leading the community engagement framework, focusing our efforts on identifying and building effective relationships with influential community partners.

The role will also focus on leveraging our current community relationships but more importantly identify, prioritise and develop new community partnerships that will sustainably deliver 'healthy water for life'.

 

What you’ll bring;

  • Experience in the development and delivery of a successful and sustainable overarching community engagement framework and strategy.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of progressive community engagement methodologies that build trust and transparency.
  • Demonstrated success in creating community and stakeholder relationships that drive brand value.
  • A ‘customer and community first’ mindset
  • Ability to manage and deliver within a complex, political / regulated and highly collaborative environment.
