Located at our stunning waterside head office in Frankston and reporting to the Integrated Water Manager, this pivotal role will provide direction and leadership for Integrated Water Management (IWM) to ready South East Water for future challenges and opportunities. You will address key opportunities and challenges in our regulatory environment and water industry position. Assist in developing a clear strategic direction for South East Water in IWM. Deliver Integrated Water Management Programs and Services that meet the needs of our customers. In addition, you will manage projects and consultants to investigate IWM projects from a technical, business case and liveability view point.

 

You will work within a team focussed on the possibilities that IWM brings. Our range of projects include headline projects including Fishermans Bend and Aquarevo.

 

In this role you will bring;

  • A leading skill set of flooding and stormwater management.
  •  A tertiary qualification in engineering, science or equivalent. Qualifications in the field of water engineering (water, sewer, drainage or treatment) are highly desirable
  • Extensive experience within a similar role
  • Proven track record in building relationships and influence a range of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and succinctly in a range of styles conveying complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences including Executive and Board
  • Strong program and project management skills. Ability to develop and manage frameworks, projects, programs and strategies. Ability to adapt the level of involvement according to business needs.
